This beautiful vintage Cloisonné Vase features flowers in shades of turquoise, on a red background, with delicate 'cloud like' formations in gold. The top and base of the Vase have been painted in varying shades of blue. 

Cloisonné is an ancient technique for decorating metalwork objects with enamels, which are held in place or separated by metal strips or wire, normally made of gold. 

Popular in jewellery, vases and other decorative items, Cloisonné has played a significant role in the decorative arts in various cultures, particularly in China, where it is considered a symbol of wealth and status.
