Moroccan Berber Necklace

This vintage Berber Necklace, has been handcrafted in Morocco. The combination of two types of red Coral, with Amazonite, silver Beads and old silver Coins, creates a fabulous piece of Jewellery. 

This is a beautiful piece of traditional Berber tribal jewellery and evokes the mystery of Morocco. Red Coral has long been prized for its beauty and rarity and treasured as priceless. Coral is also believed to support fertility.

Amazonite is known as the "Hope" stone and is a healing tool which helps you find spiritual balance.

The old Moroccan coins feature a "hexagram" which was associated with Islamic Art and Architecture, representing a symbol of divine protection and power.

Some of the silver coins in this necklace are dated, as per the Arabic calendar. This is a unique and fantastic piece of wearable Art.
