Red Coral and vintage silver Necklace

This unique Moroccan necklace has been crafted with red Coral, vintage silver Beads and discs of Bone. It has been handmade by Berber women in the Atlas Mountains of Southern Morocco. This piece of striking tribal jewellery reflects the culture and traditions of the Berber people. The Berber people have a long and rich history that is deeply intertwined with the land and culture of Morocco. 

Coral is believed to harness the energy of the earth and sea, connecting the wearers to the natural world and it's healing properties. The Berber way of life has been shaped by their environment and they developed skills in farming, herding and craftsmanship that allowed them to thrive in the harsh conditions of the mountains and deserts.
